Kay figured that the wolf would need a lot of attention to get better and up and about. It took him several days to clean out the wounds and win the confidence of this poor animal. It was still a young wolf, female, light greyish fur and incredible sad eyes. He cooked meat for her, sliced it in tiny bits and pieces and tried to feet her, but she did not wanted to eat; only drink once in awhile. That was not a very good sign, maybe she was in shock and was just waiting to close her eyes and cross the bridge to a better life. Luca kept guard at night licking her ears what she seemed to like.
